Kang Dong Won is a South Korean film and television actor. He was born on 18 January 1981 in Pusan, South Korea.

With his beautiful androgynous look, Kang Dong Won is considered as one of the leading stars of the second-generation Hallyu (Korean Wave), reaching fame in Asian countries particularly in Japan.

He is arguably the most promising young actor in the Korean film industry, after his critically acclaimed performance in "Maundy Thursday (2006)".

His acting ability, which has long been overshadowed by his look and popularity, has further been proven genuine in the recent hit movie "His Voice (2007)", where he appears only in voice.

He is my favorite Korean actor! This man is beautiful and flawless! I don't usually say this, but omg, this man is so dreamy and perfect!
(I hear stories that when people see him in person, they pass out cause he is That FINE! HAHAHAHAHHAHAH... sucks though, I don't live Korea, or any of the Asian countries that he's popular in! WTF!!!! that means there's no way in hell for me to see him in person! AUggghhhh... this sucks! LOL....
